About the position

This position is a business development role focused on expanding Colliers' business base in the Life Sciences sector. The role involves regular contact with key and prospective clients, particularly in the Middle Markets and Institutional investors, to secure new business opportunities and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a licensed real estate professional who is highly motivated and team-oriented, dedicated to maintaining and growing client relationships in the Philadelphia region.

Responsibilities

  • Secure new and expanding business opportunities in the Life Sciences sector through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
  • Identify opportunities for other service lines to drive revenue growth.
  • Encourage cross-collaboration with Leasing, Investment Sales, and Equity Placement/Debt Financing teams across product lines.
  • Maintain company databases to track prospects and business opportunities.
  • Attend local business and industry events, networking, and participating in client meetings to learn about the business and local marketplace.

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of commercial real estate sales experience or sales experience in life sciences, technology, or service sectors.
  • Licensed Real Estate practitioner in Pennsylvania (or in process of obtaining), with New Jersey and/or Delaware license being a plus.
  • Understanding of or experience working in the life sciences industry is desirable.
  • Ability to understand market cycles and set strategy accordingly.
  • Highly motivated with a high level of energy and initiative.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing, and communication skills.
  • Well organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Focused approach to achieving or exceeding outreach and follow-up metrics.
  • Prior experience using CRM programs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the life sciences industry.
  • Additional licenses in New Jersey and/or Delaware.
