About the position

The Senior AV Programmer at Nuvitek plays a crucial role in supporting mission-critical operations for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) by overseeing and executing advanced programming for AMX and Crestron systems. This position is essential for maintaining and optimizing communication infrastructure, ensuring seamless functionality for both virtual and in-person meetings. The role requires a strong technical background in AV systems and a commitment to customer success, aligning with Nuvitek's mission to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute advanced programming for AMX and Crestron systems, configuring and optimizing AV equipment.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade AV systems to ensure high-quality performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the design, integration, and rollout of new AV systems.
  • Provide hands-on support and tailored training to end-users on AV technologies.
  • Travel occasionally within the DMV area for on-site installations and support.

Requirements

  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to pass a CI Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field, or equivalent through an apprenticeship and work experience.
  • Certifications in AMX, Crestron, or related AV technologies (e.g., CTS-D, CBNE).
  • 10 years in AV systems with senior-level expertise in AMX programming.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and project management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service approach.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in additional programming platforms such as Extron or Biamp.
