About the position

The Senior Auditor in the Inspection and Group Audit Division is responsible for managing and executing all stages of assigned credit audit missions. This includes planning, reviewing credit files, analyzing portfolios, drafting reports, and conducting exit meetings. The role emphasizes assessing the business line's risk profile, focusing on asset quality and credit risk management, while also ensuring effective communication with business line managers and tracking audit recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute all stages of assigned credit audit missions within a pre-defined timeframe.
  • Prepare clear and concise worksheets and quality reports assessing the business line's overall risk profile.
  • Perform industry and peer group analysis as appropriate.
  • Follow up on audit recommendations from issued reports and track via Audit issue tracking tool.
  • Attend assigned Watch List and other portfolio review meetings for continuous monitoring of credit portfolios.
  • Communicate effectively with business line managers during credit audit assignments and for continuous monitoring purposes.
  • Ensure relevant parties are informed of significant credit issues arising from audit assignments.
  • Identify opportunities for improving the credit and/or audit process and share ideas with Senior Audit Managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or U.S. equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, International Business, or related field.
  • 5 years of professional experience as an Auditor, Credit Analyst, or in a role involving credit risk management and financial analysis for financial markets.
  • Experience with commercial lending and structured finance products and processes (including revolver credit facility, term loan, derivative products, and loan syndication) in corporate and investment banking activities.
  • 5 years of professional experience performing Credit Risk Management, including US Portfolio analysis.
  • 5 years of professional experience assessing credit exposures and portfolio quality using data analytic tools (including Excel or Power BI).
  • 5 years of professional experience analyzing macro and micro economic factors for credit analysis and approval.

  • Competitive salary range from $171,018 to $213,000 per year.
