About the position

The Sr. Automation Engineer will lead critical initiatives aimed at driving innovation and efficiency within the Operations organization. This role involves managing sophisticated multi-functional projects that transform business processes and systems, making everyday tasks easier. The engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders, including team members, business units, IT, and external partners, to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and write clear business requirements documents.
  • Develop automation use cases leveraging AI/ML technologies, Python, and automation platforms such as Automation Anywhere and Service Now.
  • Embed NVIDIA AI technology into solution definitions wherever possible.
  • Ensure quality and compliance of project work and deliver value to the business.
  • Test and deploy automation solutions.
  • Evaluate and detail the outcomes and lessons learned from each project and share standard processes.
  • Perform the role of a senior business analyst and be hands-on in automation developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology-related field (e.g. Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in AI/ML, GenAI, Predictive intelligence solutions and proven experience in developing automations.
  • Demonstrable experience in supply chain business process implementations, including manufacturing, planning, logistics, new product introduction, and business analytics in the high-tech industry.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Supply chain process and technologies.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex and multi-functional projects on time, on budget, and on scope.
  • Ability to communicate and present to all levels of leadership within the organization; drive consensus regarding new solutions, policies, and procedures and make independent decisions.
  • Must have worked in a high-value global tech supply chain environment.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies quickly and apply them in operations to solve business problems.
