About the position

The Senior Automation Tester at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) will support the United States Space Force (USSF) in Colorado Springs, CO. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of automated testing processes for critical national defense and security programs. Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts for software applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Maintain and enhance existing automated test frameworks and tools.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Document test plans, test cases, and test results for compliance and reporting purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of security testing practices and tools.
