About the position

The Senior AV Production Manager at Eurest is responsible for leading and managing the audiovisual (AV) operations within the organization. This role involves overseeing a team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various departments, and maintaining high standards of service delivery for events. The manager will also be involved in technical production, customer service, and operational excellence, contributing to the overall success of the AV services provided to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support leadership in building a vision for AV, Event Management, and Operations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on event technologies such as Teams, HD video recording, and live streaming.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and provide technical troubleshooting support.
  • Monitor team communications and deliverables, ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Track and maintain equipment inventory, including periodic audits.
  • Define and manage operational metrics and KPIs to improve performance.
  • Assist with onboarding new services and training staff.
  • Identify root issues in service delivery and implement solutions.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders and third-party vendors.
  • Audit team performance during events and non-events.
  • Manage team vehicles and equipment procurement.
  • Lead technical production for complex events.
  • Achieve established quarterly account KPIs and report on performance.
  • Collaborate with other functional leaders to ensure effective business delivery.
  • Drive innovations and initiatives for operational improvement.
  • Manage escalations from senior leadership and clients to resolve issues.
  • Ensure support personnel have necessary information and equipment for events.
  • Attend pre-event meetings to address needs and requirements.
  • Identify team purchasing needs and make requests with justifications.
  • Support the Microsoft mission and Compass Group objectives.
  • Adhere to Microsoft information security policies and escalate issues as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the Audiovisual or Broadcasting industry.
  • Working understanding of modern web conferencing and live video technologies.
  • Knowledgeable in audio and presentation systems, including control systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot audiovisual systems and equipment remotely.
  • Experience in leading large, multi-faceted teams.
  • Experience in client and vendor management and partnerships.
  • Competent in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and think strategically.
  • Excellent change management and leadership skills.
  • Superior quantitative, oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and reporting capabilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft applications like Publisher, PowerPoint, Visio, and FrontPage.
  • Familiarity with event management software and tools.
