The Senior Quality Assurance Manager, Aviation will coordinate the activities and compliance with regulatory entities such as FAA, EASA, Military Agencies, etc. This position leads and reinforces all aspects of quality assurance, ensuring the company's Quality Management System (QMS) meets all customer, company, Part 145, and both ISO 9001 and AS92120 requirements. The individual in this role is responsible for establishing the corporate quality assurance system and promoting customer satisfaction that positively impacts the financial performance of the company. This position requires a proactive approach to quality assurance and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in aviation safety and compliance. In this role, the Senior Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the interface with customers, the FAA, and other regulatory agencies regarding quality. The manager will direct the Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments, ensuring that all aircraft articles are airworthy in accordance with approved and acceptable technical data. The position also involves coordinating with the FAA and EASA on activities requiring acceptance of the Administrator, including implementing changes to the repair station Operations Specification, Repair Station Manuals, and FAA-approved training programs. Additionally, the Senior Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for reviewing and updating the Repair Station Manuals and Procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Establishing a monitoring system to ensure that all Federal Regulations, Airworthiness Directives, Approved and Accepted Technical Data, Service Bulletins, and Service Letters are current and controlled is essential. The manager will also coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory specifications, maintaining records of all work performed by the Repair Station in an easily accessible manner.
