About the position

The Senior AWS Cloud Architect at Infosys is responsible for enabling digital transformation for clients through the design and implementation of AWS solutions. This role involves researching technologies, recommending solutions, and contributing to best practices. The architect will provide guidance to project teams, ensuring high-quality technical solutions that comply with company guidelines. The position emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to diversity and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Enable digital transformation for clients in a global delivery model.
  • Research technologies independently and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards.
  • Provide inputs for identifying best-fit architectural solutions for projects.
  • Develop application designs and provide support to project teams on complex coding and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with guidelines, policies, and norms of Infosys.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 11 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Hands-on experience in architecting solutions on AWS.
  • Experience in end-to-end implementation of data warehouse and data marts.
  • Detailed knowledge of Master Data Management, ETL (Informatica), Data Quality, Metadata management, data profiling, micro-batches, and streaming data loads.
  • Experience designing and implementing complex solutions for distributed systems.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Good understanding of data integration, data quality, and data architecture.
  • Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and Modeling of Unstructured Data.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL and Unix shell scripting.
  • Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment.
