About the position

Maximus is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Integration Engineer to specialize in integrating AWS cloud solutions across Department of Defense (DoD) systems. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth application interoperability and optimizing AWS integration while maintaining high security standards for DoD infrastructure. The engineer will be responsible for developing functional models and managing architectural processes to enhance system operations.

Responsibilities

• Integrate AWS cloud solutions across DoD systems, supporting web application integrations.
• Define requirements, create functional models, and develop architectural processes.
• Optimize system operations using AWS tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Ensure alignment with security protocols and standards for cloud services.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred; may substitute for 2 years of experience).
• 10+ years of experience in cloud system integration with proficiency in AWS platforms.
• At least 3 years of recent & relevant experience with DoD AWS cloud integrations, microservices, and container platforms.
• Must have 2 of the following certifications/trainings: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS SysOps Administrator Associate, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty.
