About the position
The Senior AWS Node.js Developer at Quinnox is responsible for developing and enhancing cloud-based applications using AWS services and Node.js. This role requires hands-on experience with core AWS services and a strong background in Node.js development, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions for Fortune 500 clients. The position emphasizes collaboration within an Agile environment and the ability to adapt to new technologies and business models.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance AWS Lambda functions using Node.js.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Node.js and AWS applications.
- Utilize AWS services such as S3, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and ECS in application development.
- Collaborate with team members in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Utilize tools like Jira and ServiceNow for development and support tasks.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Node.js development.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with AWS services.
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and related frameworks, as well as JavaScript.
- Thorough understanding of relational databases and cloud-based application development.
- Proficiency in AWS services including ECS, EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and DynamoDB.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AWS services like SNS, SQS, WAT, ELB, REST API, VPC, CloudFront, Secret Manager, CloudTrail, and Load Balancers.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with development tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
