About the position

The Senior Azure DevOps Engineer at EPAM Systems is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based infrastructures using Azure. This role focuses on improving automation for cloud infrastructure and application deployments, ensuring best practices for monitoring and logging, and collaborating with development teams to align with cloud deployment standards. The position requires a strong background in DevOps, particularly with Azure, and involves creating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure and highly available cloud-based infrastructures using Azure
• Improve and manage automation for cloud-based infrastructure and application deployments
• Develop and maintain best practices for cloud infrastructure and application monitoring and logging
• Implement and manage automation for cloud-based infrastructure and application security
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment with best practices for cloud-based infrastructure and application deployments
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud systems, while creating and modifying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using Terraform

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields, with a focus on cloud-based infrastructures
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
