The Infrastructure System Administrator will be responsible for the remediation of physical infrastructure issues, including but not limited to firewalls, switches, and routers. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and security of the organization's IT infrastructure. The position requires a hands-on approach to managing and resolving issues related to physical assets, as well as implementing best practices in asset management and access control. The administrator will also focus on multi-factor authentication, ensuring that data at rest and in transit is encrypted, and maintaining data integrity across systems. In addition to these responsibilities, the Infrastructure System Administrator will be tasked with system and configuration management, which includes remote maintenance of infrastructure components. The role will also involve managing removable media and developing a robust business continuity plan to ensure that the organization can recover from potential disruptions. Logging and monitoring of systems will be essential to detect any anomalies or security incidents, and the administrator will be responsible for developing and maintaining incident response plans and reporting processes to address any security breaches effectively. This position is onsite in Dallas, TX, and is expected to last for 12 months, making it a long-term contract opportunity for candidates looking to enhance their skills in infrastructure management and security.
