About the position
The Senior Azure DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the DevOps environment for a software company focused on the independently funded medical benefits industry. This position involves working in a hybrid model, with in-office presence required 2-3 times per week in Smyrna, GA. The engineer will ensure alignment with industry policies and procedures while automating CI/CD pipelines and deploying infrastructure for SaaS solutions.
Responsibilities
- Set up and build the DevOps environment to align with insurance industry policies and procedures.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and project delivery.
- Engage in customer-facing engineering tasks as needed.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of professional DevOps/Release Management experience.
- Strong knowledge of Azure cloud platform.
- Ability to automate CI/CD pipelines effectively.
- Customer-facing engineering experience.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools, specifically Terraform.
- Experience in the healthcare, finance, or insurance industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
