About the position

The Senior Azure ETL Developer will play a critical role in the ingestion, transformation, and loading of data assets into a cloud-based data management platform. This position involves designing and testing the performance of data warehousing systems, consulting with various teams to understand data storage needs, and developing effective data warehousing options. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure services and data warehousing architecture techniques.

Responsibilities

• Ingest, transform, and load data assets into a cloud-based data management platform.
• Design and test the performance of data warehousing systems.
• Consult with various teams to understand data storage needs and develop data warehousing options.
• Deploy and maintain large-scale data processing pipelines.
• Work with data architects, data engineers, business analysts, and business teams to provide Azure data-driven solutions.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in designing, building, and deploying scalable Azure cloud-based data solutions.
• 5 years of hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse.
• 10 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), ORACLE, and T-SQL.
• 7 years of hands-on experience in Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
• 10 years of hands-on experience in deploying and maintaining large-scale data processing pipelines.
• 10 years of hands-on scripting experience with Windows and/or Python, and Linux Shell scripting.
• Experience in Azure DevOps or Continuous Integration/Delivery.
• Familiarity with Agile practices.

• Knowledge of C# and .Net.
