The Senior Back-End Developer will oversee application development, modification, and maintenance of applications within Regions' Technology department. This position is crucial in monitoring system applications, ensuring systems run smoothly, and creating reports and documentation outlining findings and solutions. The role requires a high-energy individual who thrives in a fast-paced digital environment, managing time and development on multiple projects in parallel. The Senior Back-End Developer will be responsible for overseeing the development and installation of new hardware and software, providing advice and recommendations to management on processes and techniques required for improved work operations, and installing and configuring systems and other software. The developer will also test installed software for malfunction detection, identify and resolve business systems issues, design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems. Additionally, this position will develop and implement strategies to improve systems, monitor and test system performance, and oversee the training of junior engineers to improve job skills and work efficiency. Typically, the Senior Back-End Developer will have full ownership of a process and may act as a procedural expert.
