The Senior Backend Developer (C#) role focuses on enhancing market data operations and managing data flows to ensure the efficient handling of large volumes of market data. This position requires collaboration with internal stakeholders, maintaining data quality, and overseeing system integration with trading platforms and analytics tools. The developer will also be responsible for continuous improvement by staying updated on industry trends and advancements in market data technologies.

Responsibilities

• Enhancements to Market Data Operations: Improve systems and processes supporting the market data lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of market data.
• Manage Data Flows: Optimize data pipelines and infrastructure for efficient handling of large volumes of market data with minimal latency.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to onboard new market data feeds and manage existing ones, resolving issues promptly.
• Data Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain data quality standards, monitor data integrity, and address discrepancies.
• System Integration: Oversee the integration of market data with trading platforms, analytics tools, and reporting systems.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in market data technologies.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Proficient in creating REST Web Services using C#
• Thorough understanding of asynchronous mechanisms in modern .NET development
• Experience building APIs
• Proficiency in .NET Framework, C#, WebApi, MS SQL
• Experience with Git source code management
• Professional and precise communication skills
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
• Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Active practice of clean coding practices (SOLID, continuous refactoring, testing)
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, Agile environment
• Fluency in operating with databases
• Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks
• Creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments

• Experience with financial market data management
• Exposure to gRPC binary protocol
