About the position

As a Senior Java Developer at BNY, you will be an integral part of our Treasury Services team, contributing to the development and integration of software components that are essential to our operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our systems are not only functional but also continuously improved to meet the evolving needs of our clients and the financial industry. You will be responsible for building and deploying Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, which are crucial for maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our software delivery processes. Additionally, you will provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing systems, ensuring that they operate smoothly and effectively. Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing systems will also be key aspects of your role, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and a deep understanding of our technology stack. Responsibilities

  • Build & integrate software components
  • Build & deploy CI/CD pipelines
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, support & enhancements to existing systems
  • Troubleshoot, debug & upgrade existing systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science
  • 7+ years of IT industry experience
  • Experience in building Java, J2EE, Spring, Oracle
  • Experience with Angular is a plus
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus
  • Ability to work independently
