About the position

The Senior Backend Java Developer at BNY Mellon will play a crucial role in the Treasury Services team, focusing on building and integrating software components, deploying CI/CD pipelines, and providing ongoing maintenance and support for existing systems. This position is designed for an experienced developer who can work independently and contribute to the enhancement of current systems.

Responsibilities

• Build & integrate software components
• Build & deploy CI/CD pipelines
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support & enhancements to existing systems
• Troubleshoot, debug & upgrade existing systems

Requirements

• Bachelors or master's in computer science
• 7+ years of IT industry experience
• Experience in building Java, J2EE, Spring, Oracle, Angular is a plus
• Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus
• Ability to work independently
