As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at TikTok, you will play a pivotal role in developing efficient, highly scalable, and secure services to build and integrate e-commerce solutions for TikTok Shop in the US. Your work will involve integrating TikTok Shop with partner APIs to leverage the existing ecosystem, ensuring end-to-end scalability while providing a cohesive experience for customers. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing global products for the creator affiliate and agency product, focusing on optimizing the experience of influencers and affiliates. This includes managing the affiliate GMV and activities of influencers locally, and collaborating closely with the Affiliate product team to enhance the creator funnel and overall creator experiences. You will have complete ownership of product feature development, which encompasses everything from initial requirement management to post-live analysis. Your goal will be to drive the best product efficiency and user experience. This position requires a strong foundation in software programming, a deep understanding of data structures, algorithm design, networking, data security, and highly scalable systems design. You will also need to be well-versed in common databases and messaging frameworks such as MySQL, Redis, and Kafka.
