About the position

The Senior Benefits Analyst at CAVA plays a crucial role in the administration of employee benefit plans and wellbeing programs. This position involves facilitating enrollment, conducting benefit orientations, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The analyst will also monitor and analyze data to support the company's goal of attracting and retaining top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in evaluating Benefits program to attract and retain top talent.
  • Performs benefits administration including enrollment, claims resolution, change reporting, and benefits invoicing.
  • Communicates benefit information to Team Members and resolves benefit-related inquiries and issues.
  • Serves as a resource for Team Members regarding benefit plans, PTO, and leave information.
  • Prepares and submits regulatory filings and compliance reports.
  • Assists in the preparation and maintenance of Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and other plan documents.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and leave policies.
  • Abides by policies and procedures that support the service mindset.
  • Manages timeline expectations within and across teams, delivering on responsibilities accordingly.
  • Earns the trust of Team Members and Managers by consistently embracing CAVA's values.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of human resources experience, specifically in benefits administration.
  • 3-5 years of experience analyzing HR data and metrics related to employee benefits.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll, and similar human resource management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems including UKG.
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently on complex projects and solve problems.
  • Strong grasp of the industry and knowledge of legal guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of employee and departmental issues.
  • Knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and EEOC regulations is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology or Human Resources preferred.
