The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is primarily responsible for leading, developing, implementing, and supporting advanced Power BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise with Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service, and experience supporting critical enterprise-grade BI solutions. Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Process Improvement methodologies, Agile Development, MPP platforms, and PostgreSQL is also required. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI reports and dashboards, translating business requirements into technical specifications for Power BI solutions. You will develop, implement, and optimize DAX calculations and Power Query transformations while managing and maintaining Power BI datasets, dataflows, and workspaces. Collaboration with stakeholders is essential to ensure BI solutions meet business needs and drive decision-making. You will also provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Power BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy and integrity within BI solutions. Additionally, you will implement best practices for Power BI development, including version control and documentation, and conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and team members on Power BI usage and capabilities. Staying up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and updates is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for Power BI solutions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure BI solutions meet business needs and drive decision-making.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within BI solutions.
• Implement best practices for Power BI development, including version control and documentation.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and team members on Power BI usage and capabilities.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and updates.

Requirements

• Expertise in advanced Power BI development (Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service).
• Experience in Data Warehouse/BI Solution Design.
• Knowledge of Dimensional Modeling.
• Experience in Analytics/OLAP Cube/Tabular Development (Microsoft SSAS and MDX/DAX).
• Proficiency in Report Development (Microsoft Power BI).
• Experience working in an MPP (Massively Parallel Processing) database (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics, PDW/APS) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Relational Database and SQL Language (T-SQL and PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) processes.
• Familiarity with HDInsights, Hadoop, Polybase, Tableau tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with Power Automate and Power Apps for workflow automation and app development.
