About the position

The Senior BI Developer will play a crucial role in transforming business requirements into actionable business intelligence solutions. This position involves designing, building, and deploying BI solutions, maintaining data analytics platforms, and delivering quality reports to clients. The role requires strong communication skills to promote BI tools across the company and improve existing BI systems.

Responsibilities

• Interact with business teams and system analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy BI solutions such as reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc data exploration.
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms.
• Use advanced analytics skills to generate and deliver quality reports to customers/clients professionally, efficiently, and timely.
• Deliver analytic results and promote the use of BI tools across the company.
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
• Develop, analyze, and modify processes, data structures, and models to support analytic outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• 6+ years of proven experience in data science, business intelligence, or a similar role, preferably in a leadership capacity.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
• Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and moderate proficiency in other data manipulation and analysis languages (Python, R, Scala, Java, etc.).
• Experience with cloud data management platforms and architectures (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS data & analytics tools, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to build strong internal relationships and manage key stakeholders, including senior management.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines and work independently.
• Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in data reporting and analytics.
