About the position

The BI Developer at Zenith will play a crucial role in the business intelligence lifecycle, focusing on translating business needs into technical specifications and delivering data-driven solutions. This position requires a strong technical background in data integration, analytics, and reporting, with a focus on creating impactful dashboards and reports to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the BI lifecycle, from requirements to data analysis, report analysis, and understanding of business processes.
• Translate business needs to technical specifications.
• Write application and database code based on business requirements or user stories, architectural requirements, and existing code.
• Generate, format, interpret, and prepare reports, scorecards, and dashboards to support business owners and team objectives.
• Deliver client and internal solutions in line with industry best practices.
• Train users and help institutionalize data and dashboard governance practices.
• Exercise strong project management skills and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Requirements

• Strong technical and analytics background.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years proven experience as a BI developer with hands-on experience mastery in Data Integration, Analytics, and Reporting.
• Advanced SQL coding, tuning, and query optimization, especially within cloud-based data warehouses MS Azure and Amazon Redshift.
• In-depth experience in building cutting edge Tableau and Power BI dashboards.
• Professional or academic experience working with large data sets for conducting quantitative analysis.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to service clients, partners, and internal stakeholders by understanding their needs, translating those needs into creative solutions, and delivering on those solutions with diligence and a sense of urgency.
• Self-motivated and a self-starter with strong ability to multitask projects/tasks effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Digital media experience, particularly experience working in ad tech industry with a data-centric role.
