About the position

The position requires a skilled individual with a strong background in IT technologies, particularly in database management and analytics. The role involves working with various technologies, leading projects, and collaborating with users to implement complex reports and data models. The candidate will also be responsible for training peers and subordinates, ensuring effective communication across diverse teams, and maintaining high work ethics and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Work with users to define, specify, and implement complex reports.
  • Understand complex data models and design or troubleshoot complex database queries.
  • Develop and support Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) ETLs and build data models.
  • Transfer knowledge to peers and train subordinates.
  • Plan, organize, and lead meetings, translating functional to technical information.
  • Develop documentation for users of diverse backgrounds and skills.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree with a minimum of three (3) years relevant experience, or Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of four (4) years relevant experience, or Associate's Degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or High School Diploma/GED with Technical Certification in IT Technologies and a minimum of 7 years work experience in relevant field.
  • Three (3+) years of experience with at least two of the following technologies: SQL, Oracle RDBMS development, SQL Server development, Business Analysis, Project Management.
  • Two (2+) years of experience working with users to define, specify and implement complex reports.
  • Two (2+) years of experience working with Oracle Analytics Cloud.
  • Three (3+) years of experience developing and supporting Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) ETLs and building data models.
  • Ability to learn new technology as required for the job using documentation and other available resources.
  • Flexibility to work on multiple assignments with changing priorities and stay on schedule/on budget.

Nice-to-haves

  • Formal training in Project Management.
  • Formal Project Management and/or Business Analysis skills.
  • Experience developing applications and/or databases.
  • Experience implementing packaged software.
  • Experience as a dedicated participant on a medium to large scale systems development project.
  • Experience supporting REST APIs.
  • Experience supporting off-the-shelf or Cloud based SaaS enterprise level applications.
  • Experience working with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Service Now.
