About the position

The Senior BI Report/Tableau Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining reports in Tableau and Business Objects, transitioning from Business Objects to Tableau, and developing User Developed Applications (UDAs) using Excel VBA macros. This role requires strong SQL skills and the ability to present technical information to a non-technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Building new reports in Tableau with connections to various data sources
• Using SQL to connect to various data sources
• Re-platforming from Business Objects to Tableau
• Maintaining existing reports in Business Objects/Tableau
• Maintaining existing UDAs developed using Excel VBA macros/Tableau
• Retiring or re-platforming existing UDAs
• Presenting reports to a non-technical audience
• Building new UDAs using Tableau/Excel VBA macros as needed

Requirements

• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge in Tableau development
• Experience with Business Objects WEBI reports
• Proficiency in Excel VBA Macros
• Strong SQL skills
• Familiarity with databases
• Knowledge of Financials/Accounting
• Presentation and design skills
• Understanding of ETL concepts

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on experience with any ETL tool (Informatica/Datastage)
• Certification in Tableau or Business Objects
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Experience in Staff Operations
