About the position

The Senior Board Test Engineer will be part of the Test Solutions Group at NVIDIA, focusing on developing manufacturing test solutions for GPU and CPU products in the Data Center. This role combines hardware and software expertise to enhance test coverage and automation, contributing to NVIDIA's mission of amplifying human creativity and intelligence through innovative technology.

Responsibilities

  • Define manufacturing hardware test solutions applicable across Board and System product segments.
  • Develop test strategies for new product features, including the design and qualification of test fixtures, equipment, and diagnostic software.
  • Support the development of test content and solutions using Python.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance GPU and CPU testing coverage, including HW Design, Quality, and Software Development.
  • Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technologies and methodologies to improve production efficiency.
  • Contribute to automated diagnostic generation and validation infrastructure.
  • Review and provide feedback for Design for Test (DFT) in early design stages.
  • Debug complex hardware and software issues during build phases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of post-silicon validation experience in Board or System products.
  • Experience with manufacturing test programs at the platform level.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and bash scripting.
  • Experience with various board-level products.
  • Solid knowledge of IPMI, PCIE, BMC, and Thermal Solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
