About the position

The Senior Brand Accountant at Richemont North America plays a crucial role in supporting the financial closing, operations, and controlling processes for various brands. This position ensures compliance with Group and Company policies while fostering a strong financial and commercial mindset among team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage the timely financial closing process for month-end and year-end closes, ensuring compliance with IFRS & Group guidelines.
• Liaise with Maisons and support functions on appropriate accounting treatment of transactions.
• Handle fixed asset accounting, including CAPEX reporting.
• Review lease agreements and account for monthly lease contracts.
• Review trial balance and provide commentary for variances.
• Participate in annual external and internal audits.
• Support process improvement projects to drive efficiency and compliance.
• Engage in ad-hoc Accounting projects.

Requirements

• Accounting degree with 5 - 7 years of experience.
• Understanding of financial concepts and experience in financial statement analysis.
• Result-oriented team player with strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems; SAP ERP experience is a plus.
• High proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills.
