About the position

Intuit's Brand and Transformation team is seeking a Senior Brand Designer who will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the company's visual identity. This position involves leading the design process from concept to execution, ensuring that all brand creative solutions align with business strategies and goals. The designer will collaborate with various stakeholders and external agencies to enhance Intuit's brand presence across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

  • Apply strategic visual thinking and design skills to deliver end-to-end brand creative visual solutions that build on business strategy and goals.
  • Lead design buildout from project beginning to delivery, including research, go-wide explorations, concept refinement, and production delivery.
  • Utilize industry design standards and best practices to define and implement criteria, guidelines, and specs.
  • Act as a creative leader for the organization, sharing inspiration, helping evangelize good design practices, mentoring junior creatives, and role modeling a collaborative creative studio mindset.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team designers, researchers, leadership/project stakeholders, program management, marketing, and other team members.
  • Prioritize work and multi-task well; wear multiple hats, self-manage bandwidth and clearly escalate constraints.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing and extending brand visual identities, creating award-winning design pieces, scaling end-to-end event identities.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and ability to articulate design rationale to stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding and expertise in core areas of brand design, including typography, grid/layout, color theory, logo + identity design, design systems, photography, and how to create a range of expressive tones from combining those elements.
  • Intimate knowledge of the latest design tools and workflows, including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.
  • Working knowledge of production best practices for print, motion, experiential and digital output.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of photo/video art direction.
  • Experience with AI tools like Midjourney/Dalle.
