About the position

The Senior Brand Manager at Maesa is a pivotal role responsible for championing the brand within the organization. This position involves leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to align with the brand vision. The role focuses on developing and executing strategic marketing plans, analyzing market opportunities, and managing key brand projects to drive growth and brand equity. The ideal candidate should have a passion for wellness and the beauty industry, with a strong emphasis on creating innovative customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Brand Management to lead the development of brand strategy and annual marketing plans.
  • Analyze market and business to identify growth opportunities and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Manage key brand projects including advertising, merchandising, promotions, and innovation.
  • Lead the development of briefs for program teams/agencies to build brand equity and drive household penetration.
  • Plan and execute 360 marketing programs, including assortment and launch toolkits.
  • Build brand equity through creative content and set content strategy based on data-driven audiences.
  • Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring alignment and performance delivery.
  • Develop business objectives and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies to ensure timely execution of product activations.
  • Drive alignment strategy with senior management and participate in key sales and marketing presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 5 years of brand marketing/management experience, preferably in CPG from a Fortune 500 company.
  • Previous experience working with founders is preferred.
  • Experience in the beauty and personal care industry is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a matrixed team environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Problem-solving skills to deal with ambiguity.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Action and results-oriented mindset.
