About the position

We are looking for a person who has a passion for brands and is willing to roll their sleeves up and learn by doing to take the #1 Mexican Brand on Draft to the next level of growth. The role covers the exciting opportunity to support the development of the Dos Equis brand, in particular in the Sunbelt States where we are facing strong competition, supporting the team to make Dos Equis a culturally relevant brand again. This is a critical role on the team supporting highly impactful projects including our parent brand ad campaigns. The role is nicely positioned to help shape the future of the brand by driving new and exciting means of communicating with the brand's audience. In this role you will have full participation in the brand team's activities and assist the Brand Director in the development of key brand programs that deliver the annual plan. You will gain experience in the complete advertising process, drive the brand's agenda on social media, influence media narrative on the brand via PR, and fully own all aspects of brand management on one of our sub-brands.

Responsibilities

  • Support Brand Director across full range of ATL activities including creative development, asset production, and media execution
  • Lead Always-On PR tactics to ensure disproportionate media coverage of the brand
  • Lead development and execution of a PR tentpole surrounding our Equity campaign
  • Develop cutting-edge Social and Digital strategy to effectively reach younger Legal Drinking Age (LDA) consumers
  • Manage In-House Organic Social Team of 2; overseeing monthly creative calendar, ad hoc posts, and community management
  • Own Dos Equis Ambar Sub-Brand including ATL, BTL, commercial strategy + execution
  • Oversee Golden Record-driving tactics including Lead Gen ads, email marketing, and brand website
  • Support Brand Director in reporting on franchise performance against KPI's

Requirements

  • 5+ years brand management experience
  • Expertise in and passion for social and digital marketing
  • Experience managing complex projects with many stakeholders
  • Proven ability to execute brand projects that align with overall brand positioning
  • Proven experience leading advertising campaigns from brief to execution
  • Experience briefing and managing agency partners
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and teams to achieve a common goal

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of the beverage industry or CPG preferred
  • Experience in Multicultural Marketing strongly preferred
  • Prior people management experience
  • Curiosity and knowledge of culture
  • Strong commercial acumen - experience managing budgets and brand performance analysis
