Our Northern California Sector Bridge team is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer / Senior Project Manager and seller-doer to join our team in Sacramento, California. The incumbent candidate will have the opportunity to participate in a broad portfolio of exciting projects locally, across the State, across the US, and internationally. The role requires a strong technical background and broad experience in the preliminary and detailed design of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other transportation structures. The candidate will provide technical support during the construction phase of projects, which could include site inspections and administration. The position involves the preparation of drawings for projects and assignments of varying complexity and scope in accordance with standards including AASHTO, Caltrans amendments, and Caltrans design procedures. The candidate will function in a supportive technical role in both conventional and alternative delivery bridge projects across the state, lead multi-discipline bridge projects for public sector clients, and manage/mentor staff. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for proposal development/preparation with a focus on developing existing relationships within Caltrans Districts and will act as the Primary Client Manager assigned to various transportation agencies, cities, and counties in Central and Northern California. The role also includes presenting and assisting at public presentations on technical/design issues.
