About the position

The Senior Budget Analyst position at Patricio Enterprises involves providing comprehensive budget and financial support for Defense Acquisition programs. The role requires expertise in using financial systems, particularly the Army's General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), and involves analyzing financial data, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The analyst will also prepare various financial documents and maintain program budgets, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general knowledge and hands-on experience using the Army's General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) software/database or equivalent ERP and BI platforms.
  • Assist in analyzing and resolving issues related to SAP Financials and Asset Management.
  • Resolve SAP IDOC errors for financial and supply chain interfaces, including Government Purchase Cards and Purchase Orders.
  • Research and resolve dormant accounts in ADVANA.
  • Analyze civilian payroll postings and facilitate corrections of erroneous budget postings.
  • Support Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiatives.
  • Prepare Work Breakdown Structures, Sales Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Orders.
  • Create, fund, and maintain Transportation Account Codes.
  • Maintain spend plan for each program.
  • Transition to G-Invoice capability.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or higher degree.
  • Eight or more years of experience providing budget and financial support for a Defense Acquisition program office.
  • Extensive working experience with DoD/Army Financial databases (GFEBS & LMP).
  • SAP certifications.
