About the position

The Senior Budget Analyst SME will support the Airman Systems Directorate, specifically the Airman Biosciences Division, by conducting research and providing expertise in budget management and reporting. This part-time role involves working remotely and requires proficiency in Microsoft software to assist in project management and reporting for various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Aid in research for the Airman Systems Directorate and Biomedical Impact of Flight Branch.
• Support the development of electronic products for project management and reporting.
• Prepare budget planning and tracking documents, including funding requests and spend plan graphs.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for creating budget tables and reports.
• Communicate effectively with Division and Wing officials and program/project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational and management skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in federal contracting or defense-related projects.
• Knowledge of biomedical research and aeromedical disciplines.
