About the position

The Senior Business Account Executive Direct Sales (Outside Sales) at Comcast is responsible for expanding territories and driving sales of innovative products and solutions to a diverse range of commercial customers. This role involves engaging with mid-market and enterprise clients, focusing on advanced communication solutions, and managing customer relationships through direct and partner channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop territory by establishing local business partnerships and enhancing Comcast's brand positioning.
  • Maintain quality sales records and prepare required sales and activity reports.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and support a positive impression of the Comcast experience.
  • Acquire new sales of Comcast Commercial Internet, Video, and Voice services to small and mid-size businesses.
  • Generate new leads through prospecting activities such as cold calling, canvassing, and referrals.
  • Focus on advanced communications solutions including PRI, Hosted PBX, and multi-location opportunities.
  • Identify areas for improvement through a consultative process to enhance communication for prospects.
  • Effectively manage a territory with a comprehensive business plan.
  • Collaborate with technical, customer service, and support staff to ensure customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects to meet or exceed monthly quotas.
  • Stay knowledgeable about Comcast products and services to facilitate sales efforts.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales and business quality objectives.
  • Adhere to company standards and maintain professionalism.
  • Demonstrate punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and demonstrate resilience in a fast-paced environment
  • Technical knowledge of advanced communication solutions
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Workplace organization and persuasion abilities
