About the position

The Senior Business Account Executive in Direct Sales is responsible for selling Comcast's Internet, Data, Video, and Voice services to small and mid-sized businesses. This role focuses on advanced communication solutions and requires the creation and delivery of face-to-face sales presentations. The executive will work to exceed financial and unit targets while maintaining customer satisfaction and developing local business partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Comcast Internet, Data, Video and Voice services to small and mid-sized businesses.
  • Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations demonstrating knowledge of Comcast products and services.
  • Promote the sale of bundled products to ensure optimal solutions for customers.
  • Develop local business partnerships and enhance Comcast's positioning and brand.
  • Maintain quality sales records and prepare sales and activity reports as required.
  • Generate new leads through prospecting activities including cold calling and customer referrals.
  • Identify improvement areas through a consultative process to enhance communication for prospects.
  • Manage a territory with a high activity and comprehensive business plan.
  • Team with technical and customer service staff to ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects to meet monthly quota performance.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales and business quality objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong adaptability and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-focused with strong persuasion skills.
  • Professional integrity and resilience.
  • Technical knowledge related to Comcast products and services.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in outside sales or telecommunications industry.
  • Familiarity with advanced communication solutions such as PRI and Hosted PBX.
