About the position

The position involves selling Comcast's Internet, Data, Video, and Voice services to small and mid-sized businesses, with a focus on advanced communications solutions. The role requires creating and delivering face-to-face sales presentations, promoting bundled products, and exceeding sales targets while maintaining customer satisfaction and developing local business partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop territory by establishing local business partnerships and enhancing Comcast's brand positioning.
  • Maintain quality sales records and prepare sales and activity reports as required.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and support a positive impression of the Comcast experience.
  • Acquire new sales of Comcast Commercial Internet, Video, and Voice services to small and mid-sized businesses.
  • Generate new leads through prospecting activities such as cold calling, canvassing, and customer referrals.
  • Focus on advanced communications solutions including PRI, Hosted PBX, and multi-location opportunities.
  • Identify areas for improvement through a consultative process to enhance communication for prospects.
  • Effectively manage a territory with a comprehensive business plan.
  • Team with technical, customer service, and support staff to ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects to meet or exceed monthly quota performance.
  • Remain knowledgeable of Comcast products and services to facilitate sales efforts.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales and business quality objectives.
  • Adhere to all company standards and maintain professionalism.
  • Demonstrate punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
  • 5-7 years of relative work experience.
  • Strong adaptability and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-focused with strong persuasion skills.
  • Professional integrity and resilience.
  • Technical knowledge relevant to the products and services offered.

Benefits

  • Base pay of $55,000 with total target compensation of $105,000 including commission.
