About the position

The Senior Business Account Executive for SMB Direct Sales is responsible for selling Comcast's Internet, Data, Video, and Voice services to small and mid-sized businesses. This role focuses on advanced communications solutions and requires the creation and delivery of face-to-face sales presentations. The executive will work to exceed financial and unit targets while maintaining customer satisfaction and staying informed about the competitive landscape and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Comcast Internet, Data, Video and Voice services to small and mid-sized businesses.
  • Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations demonstrating knowledge of Comcast products and services.
  • Promote the sale of bundled products to ensure optimal solutions for customers.
  • Develop local business partnerships and enhance Comcast's brand positioning.
  • Maintain quality sales records and prepare sales and activity reports.
  • Achieve new acquisition sales of Comcast Commercial services.
  • Generate new leads through prospecting activities including cold calling and referrals.
  • Identify improvement areas through a consultative process to enhance communication for prospects.
  • Manage a territory with a comprehensive business plan and high activity levels.
  • Team with technical and customer service staff to ensure customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects to meet monthly quota performance.
  • Stay knowledgeable of Comcast products and services to facilitate sales efforts.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales and business quality objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in sales or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt and demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused with strong persuasion abilities.
  • Professional integrity and resilience in a sales environment.
  • Technical knowledge of advanced communications solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in selling telecommunications or technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.

Benefits

  • Base Pay: $72,500.00
  • Total Target Compensation: $122,500.00 (Base Pay plus Targeted Commission)
