About the position

The Senior Business Account Executive, SMB Direct Sales (Outside Sales) at Comcast is responsible for expanding territories and driving sales of innovative products and solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. This role involves engaging with a diverse range of commercial customers, managing relationships, and promoting advanced communication solutions. The position requires a proactive approach to territory development, customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Comcast Internet, Data, Video and Voice services to small and mid-sized businesses.
  • Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations demonstrating knowledge of Comcast products and services.
  • Promote bundled products to ensure optimal customer solutions.
  • Develop local business partnerships and enhance Comcast's brand positioning.
  • Maintain quality sales records and prepare sales activity reports.
  • Generate new leads through prospecting activities including cold calling and referrals.
  • Identify areas for improvement in clients' communication processes.
  • Manage a defined territory with a comprehensive business plan.
  • Team with technical and customer service staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects to exceed monthly quotas.
  • Stay knowledgeable about Comcast products and services to facilitate sales efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results-driven and goal-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in sales techniques and customer relationship management.

Nice-to-haves
