About the position

The Sales Representative at Comcast is responsible for selling Internet, Data, Video, and Voice services to small and mid-sized businesses, with a focus on advanced communications solutions. This role involves creating and delivering sales presentations, promoting bundled products, and exceeding sales targets while maintaining customer satisfaction and developing local business partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop territory by establishing local business partnerships and enhancing Comcast's brand positioning.
  • Maintain quality sales records and prepare sales and activity reports as required.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and support a positive impression of the Comcast experience.
  • Acquire new sales of Comcast Commercial Internet, Video, and Voice services to small and mid-sized businesses.
  • Generate new leads through prospecting activities such as cold calling, canvassing, and customer referrals.
  • Focus on advanced communications solutions including PRI, Hosted PBX, and multi-location opportunities.
  • Identify areas for improvement through a consultative process to enhance communication for prospects.
  • Effectively manage a territory with a comprehensive business plan.
  • Team with technical and customer service staff to ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects to meet or exceed monthly quota performance.
  • Stay knowledgeable about Comcast products and services to facilitate sales efforts.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales and business quality objectives.
  • Adhere to company standards and maintain professionalism in all interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
  • 5-7 years of relative work experience in sales or a related field.
  • Strong adaptability and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-focused with strong persuasion skills.
  • Professional integrity and resilience in a sales environment.
  • Technical knowledge relevant to Comcast's products and services.
  • Excellent workplace organization skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in telecommunications or technology sales.
  • Familiarity with advanced communication solutions such as PRI and Hosted PBX.

Benefits

  • Base Pay: $60,000.00
  • Total Target Compensation: $110,000.00 (Base Pay plus Targeted Commission)
