About the position

The Senior Business Analyst for Database Marketing will play a crucial role in analyzing business operations and providing actionable insights through data analysis and visualization. This position requires a strong technical background in SQL and Tableau, as well as the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications. The analyst will manage multiple projects, ensuring data integrity and continuously seeking improvements in data processes and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and optimize data cubes using SQL to support various business needs.
• Develop and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting to support business initiatives.
• Work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy in all reporting and analysis.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve data processes, reporting capabilities, and analytical methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of business analysis or related experience.
• Strong technical skills in SQL and Tableau, with proficiency in creating complex SQL queries and data cubes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management and company personnel.
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
