About the position

The Senior Business Analyst - GIS at Kforce Inc. is responsible for conducting workshops with business partners to gather requirements for complex business procedures related to GIS workflows. This role requires a deep understanding of GIS and business process expertise to design and deliver effective solutions. The position is crucial in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, particularly within a utility company.

Responsibilities

• Gather and facilitate business process discussions, solution design and documentation, configuration, test and end-user support
• Provide inputs in promoting and implementing best-practice solutions (business processes and GIS functionality)
• Work closely with operations teammates and business partners to understand user functionality, pain points, and areas for improvement
• Assist with the delivery of special projects and small enhancements, and review and improve policies and procedures
• Review statistics, validate or challenge existing processes, and identify areas for improvements and efficiencies
• Define business workflows and establish performance benchmarks for project requirements
• Conduct operational analyses and lead medium to large project teams to support informed decision-making
• Prepare reports that provide operational and/or technical support to business operations
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support special projects
• Assist with process design and modification for continuous business improvement
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Scrum Master preferred
• 5+ years of experience
