About the position

As a Senior Business Analyst at Capital One, you will leverage your strategic and analytical skills to address significant company challenges. This role is part of the Liquidity strategy team, focusing on enhancing financial health for consumers through product performance evaluation, business case development, and market feature launches. You will collaborate with a diverse team to implement innovative solutions that impact the company's bottom line.

Responsibilities

• Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement through analysis.
• Perform modeling and analytics to assist in developing new product and pricing strategies for various lending products.
• Support direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and strategic product distribution through retail channels.
• Build targeted insights to inform the design and development of new customer experiences and technology.
• Connect drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior to support improvements in credit performance.
• Create risk models and test hypotheses using rigorous monitoring and analysis.
• Develop problem frameworks, test and analyze solutions, and lead implementation efforts with a monitoring plan.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Capital One, including IT, Sales, Operations, and Finance, to drive improvements in quality, volume, service, and profitability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering).
• At least 1 year of experience in analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in Business or a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering.
• 1+ years of experience in statistical model building.
• 1+ years of experience in market research.
• 1+ years of experience in SQL querying.
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis.
• 1+ years of experience in consulting.
