About the position

The Senior Business Analyst - Marketing Analytics is responsible for enhancing the efficiency of marketing strategies through data-driven decision-making. This role involves conducting deep analyses, supporting quantitative campaigns, and measuring marketing effectiveness. The analyst will collaborate with marketing partners to design, execute, and optimize campaigns, while also crafting measurement frameworks and building reports and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analytical experiments (including A/B tests and geo lift studies) for both online and offline Marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize SQL programming to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases and data sources.
  • Build reports and Power BI dashboards using data modeling and analysis techniques to uncover insights.
  • Work with partners to set up tests to measure the relationship between variables in marketing tactics.
  • Scope out Business Analytics needs, define data structures for reporting, and identify solutions for data automation.
  • Analyze cross-channel, customer, and transactional data to determine the value of Marketing efforts.
  • Conduct quantitative campaign performance analysis and make optimization recommendations.
  • Design and layout visual elements of reports and dashboards for non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar.
  • 4+ years of experience solving high-impact problems with data.
  • Expert-level skills in writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
  • Proficiency with Power BI and strong knowledge of DAX.
  • Prior experience creating data models, visualizations, and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS) and data warehousing concepts.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel.
  • Prior experience with Python is a plus.
  • Experience developing predictive models is a plus.
  • Prior experience with Google Analytics, UTM tracking, or other web analytics data is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, writing, and analytical skills.
