About the position

The Senior Business Analyst - Risk, Liability & Claims at Providence will serve as an internal consultant, providing strategic recommendations to regional and system executive clients to enhance their success in value-based arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills to synthesize complex performance results into understandable outputs and develop insights into the readiness for adopting additional risk in the healthcare system. The analyst will also ensure the successful completion of service level agreements and performance management objectives within the Value Based Care and Population Health Informatics teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an internal consultant to regional and system executive clients.
• Provide recommendations on success in value-based arrangements.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare leadership and front-line caregivers.
• Synthesize complex value-based care performance results into understandable outputs.
• Develop strategic insights into readiness for additional risk in the system and regions' risk arrangement portfolio.
• Gain actionable insights from internal tools and population health sources to provide thought leadership.
• Ensure successful completion of service level agreements with internal partners and OKRs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Informatics, BSE, BBA, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 4+ years of experience communicating with healthcare leadership and front-line caregivers.
• 2+ years of experience working with healthcare claims and/or electronic medical record billing data.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
• 2+ years of management consulting or technical consulting experience.
