About the position

The Senior Business Analyst for Identity and Access Management (IAM) will play a crucial role in optimizing and managing IAM processes, particularly focusing on Sailpoint ID Now. This position involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, lead IAM projects, and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations. The analyst will also be responsible for developing strategies, maintaining documentation, and facilitating communication between business units and IT teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and document functional and technical specifications related to Sailpoint IDN.
  • Analyze the current IAM environment, identify gaps, and suggest improvements for access control and user provisioning processes.
  • Lead IAM projects, collaborating with IT teams and security experts to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Facilitate the implementation of Sailpoint IDN solutions, including access governance and single sign-on systems.
  • Design and improve Sailpoint IDN workflows to align with compliance and business goals.
  • Develop strategies and roadmaps for Sailpoint IDN that align with enterprise-level security frameworks.
  • Create and maintain IAM-related documentation, including user guides and process flows.
  • Provide regular reports on IAM system performance and potential security risks.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and security teams regarding IAM needs and solutions.
  • Conduct IAM training sessions for business users to ensure proper use of the systems.
  • Ensure compliance of IAM processes with industry standards and participate in audits.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for IAM solutions, focusing on SailPoint IDN.
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog to align with business objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap for IAM initiatives.
  • Develop and track performance metrics to ensure IAM objectives are met.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business analysis, focusing on IAM or information security.
  • Familiarity with IAM tools such as SailPoint, Okta, Ping Identity, and Microsoft Azure AD.
  • Strong understanding of access management concepts including RBAC, SSO, MFA, and directory services.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks like GDPR, SOX, or PCI-DSS.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and recommend solutions to optimize IAM systems.
  • Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
