About the position

The Senior Business Analyst at the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) plays a crucial role in enhancing the organization's business intelligence and facilitating data-driven decision-making. This position involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide actionable insights that align with SDF's strategic goals. The analyst will work closely with the Office of the CEO, reporting to the Chief of Staff, and will be responsible for operationalizing data into strategic recommendations that support the growth of the Stellar ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Support data-driven decision-making by answering questions that craft a clear understanding of SDF's progress.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document data, analytics, and reporting requirements.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and make business recommendations.
  • Conduct end-to-end analyses, and build visualizations and reporting that enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Communicate compelling and practical insights from data analysis and present them regularly.
  • Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with a variety of roles (e.g., engineers, business development, executives).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of business processes and ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • 5+ years of active experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex data sets and synthesize data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in data querying and data analysis over large datasets, using SQL.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with blockchain technology or financial systems.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
