The Sr Business Analyst - Tableau Report Developer is a pivotal role that requires a high level of analytical expertise and data reporting skills. This position is responsible for conducting complex analyses that assess various factors impacting business profitability, growth, and efficiency. The analyst will play a crucial role in supporting strategic initiatives aimed at addressing identified business challenges. This involves evaluating current practices, gathering information on industry trends, and creating detailed specifications to support business initiatives. The role also includes the development and implementation of modernized interactive dashboard reports and analytical tools, which are essential for data-driven decision-making within the organization. In addition to reporting, the Sr Business Analyst will participate in special analytical projects and advanced technical reporting. The position may also involve providing leadership within the work group, leveraging specialized knowledge to guide team efforts. The analyst will be responsible for delivering intelligence and insights to end-users and key stakeholders through the execution of the data visualization lifecycle. This includes leading detailed business requirements gathering, developing dashboards according to approved requirements, and making iterative enhancements based on stakeholder feedback. The analyst will also be tasked with the productionalization and maintenance of a portfolio of dashboards, monitoring for potential data anomalies, and providing daily support to end-users. Operational support is another critical aspect of this role. The Sr Business Analyst will provide expert support for business operations by responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and continuously improving business analysis tools. This includes handling escalated matters that arise during daily operations and providing guidance to business leaders. The analyst will drive the completion of various reporting deliverables, including annual, quarterly, monthly, and ad hoc reports, based on requirements gathered from business leadership. They will follow up on inconsistencies or issues, provide recommendations for resolution, and ensure timely adherence to reporting schedules. Additionally, the analyst will provide training and education to end-users and stakeholders on Business Intelligence tools and processes, promoting self-service and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
