About the position

The Senior Business Analyst at Infosys will play a crucial role in assisting clients with strategy definition, value realization, implementation, and operations, particularly in the Capital markets domain. This position involves problem discovery, detailed design, architecture, and process artifact creation, as well as coding, testing, and implementing deployment plans. The role requires a techno-functional profile to deliver solutions that empower business partners with core data management technology. The analyst will advocate for change, enhance user experiences, and maintain transparent communication with various stakeholders to ensure successful product execution.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with strategy definition, value realization, implementation, and operations.
• Discover and define problem statements.
• Create detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts.
• Code, test, and implement deployment plans.
• Support knowledge transfer to provide value-adding consulting solutions.
• Drive a user-centric view to enhance customer experiences.
• Engage with product peers, design experts, program leaders, and engineering partners for successful product execution.
• Facilitate the gathering and elicitation of business requirements from stakeholders.
• Prioritize user stories and work within Sprints based on urgency and organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience as a Business Analyst in Banking and Financial Services.
• Strong experience in SQL programming.
• Strong command of data structures and algorithms, particularly in relation to the Java collections framework.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to translate business data analysis into actionable tasks.
• Ability to author thorough, detailed, high-quality documentation, including customer journey maps, user stories, use cases, and test scripts.
• Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications that are high-volume and low-latency.
• In-depth knowledge of the Java concurrency framework.

Nice-to-haves

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
