The Senior Business Analyst at McFadyen Digital will serve as a strategic thinker and cross-functional liaison, focusing on eCommerce solutions. This role involves gathering and documenting requirements for large-scale projects, facilitating communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, and innovating solutions to enhance user experiences. The position is fully remote and emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and the application of best practices in business analysis.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document eCommerce requirements for large-scale projects.
• Handle ambiguous situations and develop practical plans to achieve clarity in functional behavior and business rules.
• Translate business needs into detailed business and functional requirements, addressing any gaps.
• Elicit requirements through various methods including interviews, workshops, and competitive analysis.
• Act as a product owner for development and QA teams, clarifying doubts and validating solutions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of global experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in IT services or systems integration.
• Bachelor's degree in business, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience with enterprise-class eCommerce platforms.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills across business and technical audiences.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools like Jira.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of multiple vertical industries such as retail, B2B, CPG, and grocery.
• Experience with internationalization and localization complexities in eCommerce.
