About the position

ECS is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work remotely, contingent upon contract award. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to analyze business issues and opportunities, define transformed business models, and develop business requirements and rules. The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in driving the end-to-end solution strategy and implementation of business processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
• Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for technology developments.
• Coordinates with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements, including program functions and user acceptance testing.
• Develops user stories in Jira.
• Facilitates the development and documentation of end-to-end business processes and associated performance measures.
• Translates business processes to technical disciplines and facilitates design continuity.
• Develops requirements documentation and interacts with SMEs to document variations to national uniform processes.
• Supports post-implementation measurement and monitoring of transformation solutions and gathers lessons learned.
• Provides subject matter expertise in business process modeling, business rules development, and functional requirements development.
• Drives the end-to-end solution strategy and implementation of the to-be vision through Program Releases.
• Presents business and technical requirements for review and approval.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Must successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security Clearance
• 7+ years' experience in systems analysis and design of information systems programs
• Experience managing projects in Atlassian
• Experience with MS Office Suite
• An active Agile certification

• Active DHS clearance
• Experience working with a federal customer
• Strong understanding of the design of moderately complex information systems
• Ability to conduct trade-off analyses on business and technical requirements
• Outstanding leadership skills and both written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact comfortably with Senior Leadership and/or Government Executives and staff.
